Life coaching can often be based on setting goals and then motivating people to achieve them, and sometimes this approach can get results.

However, if our sub-conscious mind doesn’t think the direction we’re taking is a good idea then there is a good chance that it will derail the process without us being aware of it or how it is doing it – normally by reducing our motivation or increasing our anxiety level.

Being a Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist as well as a life coach I have a large range of techniques at my disposal which allows me to blend the best aspects of coaching and therapy therefore providing you with the best most appropriate approach – for you.

Harnessing specialist techniques based on core psychological principals and natural intuition, I provide you with the tools to confidently face difficult situations, push past emotional barriers and eventually view life with fresh, hopeful and enlightened eyes.

Most of us get stuck sometimes. Whether it’s in our relationships, in business or in life itself, most of us at some point feel like we are treading water. Why we get stuck is a big question, and certainly a lot of factors can come into it, but I believe that a big one is that we don’t know enough about ourselves.

We’re not aware of the unconscious factors that can guide us down blind alleys, or seem to block the direction we think we want to go down. Many of us live with a feeling that we’re not living the life we could but do not know what we really want to do.

I always start with getting an understanding of you, your life and where you want to be in the future. The process requires that we spend a bit of time together to break the ice and get to know each other. Ideally this will be in an environment that is regarded as ‘typical’ in your life. It could be a walk with the dog, a game of golf or simply a couple of Americanos at the nearest coffee shop. This initial consultation is free and without obligation. It will usually be around 4 hours.

If we decide to proceed with a coaching package, we will jointly agree a series of interventions that addresses your specific goals, recognises your budget and is based around the amount of time you are willing to commit. There is no ‘one size fits all’ programme. Your programme is exactly that: yours.

Frequency of intervention is dependent on the goals you have set but it is common to have more frequent meetings at the start, becoming less so as your goals are being met. Over and above our 1:1 meetings, your support package covers unlimited phone calls and emails too, so you are never far away from help.
